Well I had my surgery and I am having a much harder time recovering this time around. After surgery I had a terriable bout of nausa and they gave me 6 different meds to make me feel better. They were almost to the point that I would have to be admitted if I didn't get better~~~well i got up and ready to come home and of course you can guess what happened on mt way home . Dr ended up doing more repairs then he thought he would do so my left arm is totally imbolized so i won't move it at (dr knows me too well ;D). I am having a hard time breathing because it feels like a truck is sitting on my chest but i think i pulled muscles as a result of the nausa i had. I still feel like i am out in center field so i am tring to cut back on the pain meds today. I have been real good sitting in the chair and letting dh take care of me but i am already tired of watching tv~~~lucky thing the book i ordered from ebay came in the mail today because i am almost done reading my current book and i didnt want to read it to much then not have anything to do. Well gotta go so i can get some more rest.......

Accept this one armed I KNOW too well exactly how you feel. It has been 1 yr. and 1 week since my last surgery on my left arm... I sort of remember the Dr. telling me in the recovery room that she had to do more repairs than we originally thought... It is rough, but before you realize it, you'll be looking back and thinking... that wasn't fun, but it wasn't all THAT bad. (yeah, I know, it's hard to believe it right now) But just let the family baby you for a little while. But, tell them NOT to take you out for a steak dinner unless they plan on cutting the steak for you in public! (my darling men were awfully embarrassed when I had them do it for me in the Outback!) Again, another one armed Don't try to be too brave... use the meds if you are uncomfortable... it will actually speed up the recovery if you aren't in pain. But, do be careful not to over use it.
