You´ve lost me totally...although I do know who Avril Lavigne is. I listen almost any music they play on radio, but I like the oldie´s most.
Door´s(british or irish I think) is good...I love Leonard Cohen...Those old one´s from late 70´s, 80´s....Naaah, any music that doesn´t brake my eardrum´s is good ;D

and i do know about Bo Bice hes signed to 19 Recordings/RCA Records and his cd "Inside Your Heaven" came out on June 21 so BOO-YA yeah, yeah.... you probably looked it up on the internet.  |

i have to say i don't care for rap either. luckily chris outgrew that phase pretty quick!

Just a side, remember when MTV actually played music? Now I see it is just one reality show after another. I lost track of the new bands after 1989. So I guess if I had to answer this post, I guess Pat Benetar, Boston, VanHalen are not so popular.... Miles  |

They were here but we have backslid...to the sixties.
I spent last weekend looking up Jim Stafford songs....trying to find "wild wood weed" and" too drunk to fish". Yeah sometimes we get really bored but we dont watch movies so it is music. (mention an oldie to BOBO and he will not rest till he hears it) .
He does listen to some of the newer stuff like 3 doors down and nickleback and some stuff Jared likes but I banned them to Jareds room to listen. ( they also have to go there to watch wrestling)
Cami....How are you about listening to the older stuff..like HOuse at Pooh Corner, or Your Momma Dont Dance and your Daddy dont Rock and roll , or Every Rose Has it thorns. Or some of your moms oldies. Music is like clothes what goes around comes back around later...some of the old stuff is pretty good too.

I also like 3 doors down~~~I like the girl that sings "hollar back" and I love the new def lepard song. Van Halen tops the list as well (even Riley likes their 5150 cd) PS~~~When I first read the heading of this topic I thought Cami was talking about the baller bands ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D dingy me |

M/C, speaking of old songs, a couple weeks ago while out on Andy's boat, we caught a beach concert. We idled up to the shore as close as we could get and Andy killed the engine... just in time to hear the band start singing Play That Funky Music White Boy!!! I about died!! I absolutely loved that song in the seventies!! |
