Hey! I resent that!! I listen to the radio ya know!! And not an oldies station mind you!! I hear the new songs.... it just takes me asking you sometimes who sings them.

I mean I liked the "1985" song long before I knew a band named Bowling for Soup made it. and me and your stepfather had a 3 Doors Down cd long before you ever did! We went to their concert when you were still listening to Hilary Duff!! ;D

yeh but last night i mentioned fall out boy and you said who and i mention sugar we're going down (one of thier songs) and you said you never heard it befor and that band is SO awsome!!!!! and you wouldnt let me go to the 3 doors down concert and i never liked hillary duff yeh i got her cd but i listened to it for a max of 8 times and you wouldnt buy me the 3 doors down cd cuz you had bought it already so BOO-YA!!! lol and p.s. you wouldnt have known about thier new cd if it wasnt for me telling andy so BOO-YA!! again!! lol

Are you forgetting how much Andy gets on the computer looking for cd debut dates of the bands he likes. He already knows Def Leppard is releasing a new cd next year! ;D And look here Miss Smarty Pants, I know who Bo Bice signed with and when his cd came out. Do you?

now you listen yeh ya'll knew about3 doors down's new cd but after i heard thier new song about 20 times, i dont really keep up with when people release thier cds, and i do know about Bo Bice hes signed to 19 Recordings/RCA Records and his cd "Inside Your Heaven" came out on June 21 so BOO-YA ;D your not as smart as you think you are ;D ;D ;D lol

I've been listening to Green Day, Marilyn Manson, Good Charlotte, Avril Lavigne, and 3 doors down.

But I still prefer Alan Jackson, Toby Keith, and Kenny Chesney.

The kids were forced to listen to my music for many years, so I feel obligated to listen to theirs. Thankfully, Patrick has good taste and wants to see Toby Keith when he plays here next week. Michael wants to see 3 Doors Down on July 9.

I am married to a DJ, so we listen to just about anything. But I will always have a soft spot for the original Rock and Roll bands (buddy holly) and country.

Big band music is cool too, and I don't mind listening to jazz!

boy does this sound like brittany and i!! it cracks me up!
she tells me about lots of new bands and most of the bands you've mentioned, i've heard of.
i listen to the oldies from the 60's and 70's, rock and pop both. but i also like some older than that and alot of the new stuff as well.
brittany has recently seen flogging molly and gaelic storm in concert around here. they are irish bands. brittany said gaelic storm was in titanic and she's met them and they are really nice people.
i can usually tolerate most of her music but not all of it! my son, chris, has alot of music i can't stand at all but he also likes the more classic rock so we can usually find a station to listen to!
my husband listens to jazz which none of us likes!
brittany likes country too but she's the only one. she gets that from my mom!
