Yes, I'm sure they didn't make the tea the way you do. Awhile back we went to a tea party at a friend's who has visited the UK. DD liked that tea.

We are just enjoying the weather. That miserable heat and humidity broke Friday night. It is running in the low 80s with a gently breeze, and NO humidity. The fire flies are putting on a spectacular show this weekend!
Michael had several of his ROTC buddies over in the pool. We got them "performing" to our commands. ;D They were doing a whirl pool, had it going really strong, and we ordered an about face. The kids tried to turn and march against the current, but instead they all fell down! ;D
Then, when they dried off, we dropped them in the yard and had them doing Squad Push ups... each member puts their feet across the rump of another member, in a square. Orders for push ups given, and the fun begins!
The kids were great, we just sat and enjoyed the food and laughter!
Last night was the neighbor's night. It too, was enjoyable. Same thing, sit quietly watching the fire flies reminiscing about the movies and songs of the 1980's!
I think I will fire up our grill again tonight, and finish the weekend off the same way again.
I watched a PBS special yesterday about the Revolution. John Adams predicted that "for all time" people across this great land will celebrate the ideals of freedom with family, friends, laughter, and decorations.
I plan on keeping his prediction true!
THANKS to all the Men and Women who make it safe for us to enjoy our weekend!
