william is doing much better we thought we were going to lose him last week, but he did a 180 and is doing great now. i have to hurt a few doctors now but all in all hes doing great. and we got a call thursday from our lawyer and they said we had a case and they will take it. so me and the wife are really happy. hopefully we can get enough to move closer to the hospital and pay for this car we had to buy brand new to make it back and forth. we have 65,000 miles on it and it hasnt been 2 years yet, we still have 5 months to go. but the good things is william is doing great and he can come back home in about a month and a half i figured a few things out the last few days, i went on vacation this last week, and did anything but relax. well the first two days i did. i got to spend the week with william in the hostpital and i did fine the first couple of days till my neice came to visit, she drove me nuts. real bad, no manners very disrespectful and whiney. but it help me figure out a few things, alot of my problems are STRESS!!!. i didnt think stress was a big deal nor did i pay much attention to it. it was one of those things i knew existed but i didnt think affected me. well it does, the blindness the dizzyness, i think that it is all because of the stress. now i still cant do anything about it but now i know. nice to be back at work daniel

Oh Daniel I am sooooo pleased to hear this news that William is doing much better! ... I am so sorry that he has been so ill ... but this is good news that he is doing well now Good Luck too with the case and I hope that it will give you the money to move closer to the hospital ... 65,000 on a car less than 2 years old is a LOT of mileage!! As for Stress ... YES .... I would sooooo much imagine that with all that is going on with you and William that STRESS must be huge and playing a major part!! .. Possibly a lot of that stress could be reduced if you WERE able to move closer to William ... I am going to keep my fingers crossed for you on that score!! ... Thanks for keeping us up to date Daniel !! ...

daniel! i'm sooo glad to hear that william is doing much better! it sounds like he wasn't doing too well b/c of negligence of the drs or the hospital in addition to your lawsuit, if you want the drs/hospital to be held accountable, you may want to call your state health care regulatory agency. they can investigate and cite the facility/drs for deficient practice and possibly sock them with financial penalties. if you need help finding out the name of your state agency, i can try to help you. i'm sure the stress must be constant and i dont know how you do it all. i'm not trying to be a med pusher, but there are some good anti-anxiety meds available to help you with the stress. it can help a lot, especially when there's nothing you can do to relieve the stress. good luck with your precious kids and with the lawsuit.

Daniel, Hang in there. I remember spending many days in the hospital in the weeks after Nate was born and can relate to the stress (a little). Now in your case, day after day, driving hundreds of miles, possibly fearing who might be on the other end of a ringing phone..... I cannot compare. We are here to listen.... Miles
