I was just wondering why non of my smiley's do anything at home and they do at work. I think I have some protective filter on or something. Could it have anything to do with running Windows XP, or is it something in the security setup of the browser?
Any help would be appreciated.

They work for me both on 98 and xp. Not sure on this board, but on some you can turn them on and off. You might try going into your profile and seeing if there is a setting in there to turn them on.

Miles do you mean the smileys here on this board?
By the way - the set Board "Avatars" are not working right now ... the Proboards team ARE working on this ... so they will be coming back I am assured!! ... Those with their OWN avatars are fine however.
BUT the smiley question is a separate one ... The smileys on our board here are hosted by my villagephotos account ... as is my avatar and Linda's and finnmom's (to name a couple more) .... Miles .. can you see our avatars??

I am thinking that this is a bigger computer problem than just with this board. I cannot read my email from work on the laptop (XP computer) but can with the 98 version. I was hoping that there was just a "magic button" to push and everything would start moving again. Oh, well. BTW, they all show up, just don't move. Miles |
