The research was just culmunated by a sitdown with the Geneticist and the Dev. PDoc.

They have to do more tests on Zac due to abnormality with his head and ear size, they want to add their findings to the research.

The Docs said that Alyssa forehead protrudes too far out and she has definite developmental delays. The Docs. said that Zac has too much fatty acid build up causing his stomach problems.

They said Eric needed behavioral therapy and all three have Sensory dysfunction associated to the Autism.

Erics ADHD Meds may be causing his Autistic self-stimming behaviors to increase making it almost impossible for him to function in school.

Support and Services ;D are now provided by the Disabilities area of the state. However, that means very long waiting lists for OT, Speech, Hab/Respite. Still waiting. .

Alot fo the really great therapies cost too much and we are moving to another area of town in order to save money. They have to be kidding.

The researchers have pretty much put my dh on his last nerve because they tell you all this stuff and then want you to sign up for all their special seminars and classes for the kids, even after you tell them the situation.

You know how it is, Something has to be going on to remind you to keep chugging along,

Everyone...

Just wanted to let you know some exciting news.... We have two Habilitation workers to work with 3 kids. They come 4 days a week to help the kids learn dialy routine and concentration. I have been on cloud nine.

The kids are doing great and their brother Nic is really happy about it. They are helping the kids with social skills too. Nic gets a break from the chaos and some one on one attention from me.

I am getting used to having people want to help my angels but I really think I could come to like this wave in our life.

you know, My whole thing the last year has been....

It can be really hard to ride the wave unless you learn to surf, So I am learning to surf...hehe!!!

I apppreciate all the support and love I get here and I am a better person because you are here.
