Hi everybody. It has been a long time since I was on her last. I was Momrat on the other site and was there everyday. You guys were my link to the sane world 
After trying to get help for my 11yo daughter I finally got an IEP yesterday. She is reading on a 3rd grade level and all the test that required reading and understanding she would bomb. I had her tested for disabilities before but she would always test too high so no help, but they saw how much she was trying and making no progress they allowed her the extra help. So now when the class takes a test she will go to a different room and have the test read to her but still be required to know the same material as the rest of the class. I am so relieved. She wants A's so bad they just can't seem to happen. I am so glad to be back with you guys. Have a great weekend.
