School meeting in 2 hours

Have given up on Sons Therapist and Doctor, They havent helped in the past two months of taking him in for weekly (sometimes twice a week) visits. The therapist tells us to do one thing, the Doctor (who is with the same office as the therapist and they are supposedly working together) tells me no, do another. Then only after two visits with the doctor he basically washed his hands of us and says there is nothing more he can do for our son till DH and I get his anger under control,, HELLO thats why we are bringing him to you!

So anyways, today is The school meeting on them doing an evaluation thru the school to see what they can do to help him there and I am starting to look for a new set of doctors.. Wish us luck~

Always willing to wish luck!!! Best of luck, and I hope the school can pick up where the therapist and dr have failed your child!! (they have failed not you BTW!!!)

SD has a behavior modification written right into her IEP, they cross off letters of something she really likes to do if she has bad moments (each letter represents 5 minutes of time), so as long as she doesnt have a horrible day she gets at least some time with each particular activity (her activities are gerbil and computer time)... Might be an option to throw out to the teacher... Again Good luck !!

Got the ball rolling, We filled out the paperwork to have the School observe him and go from there. The Asst Principal said that she has dropped in to watch him several times in class and said they will do all they can to help us. DH and I are finally feeling that something positive is happening..
