I forgot it was on and am dying to know what happened with Carters girlfriend. I saw the previews and dont know anything else.

Their baby died. It tied a knot in the cord and died before birth. She had to go through labor and everthing!

It was heart-wrenching. I'm glad someone else saw it because none of my friends did and I had no one to discuss it with. I thought that the girlfriend (Kim) did an amazing acting job. (And of course Noah Wyle did!)
