The price of vacations nowadays!

I have been searching for a place in the Panama City, Ft. Walton, Destin, and Pensacola Florida areas for the last several days for a short vacation this Summer. I can not believe what places charge these days!

Add in the cost of gas now and you may as well plan on going broke to get away for a few days! Geez!

Ok, anybody got a nice beach condo they'd be willing to rent me?

I agree with you totally, try taking 2 adult´s and 3 kid´s to somewhere, I should be uncle scrooge ;D It would be so fun..... but it need´s some saving first

Well we just got back from florida vacation, and yes it was very expensive! I was quite thankfull we stayed with my dad and didnt have the added bill of a motel for the trip!

Hey maybe my dad would put you up? LOL he is in ocala florida, and has his own pool and hot tub!!

Usually our vacations consist of a tent, a little food, and some fishing poles. Although we haven't been on one in a few years. We pick a place fairly close by where the kids can swim, fish, and just plain act the fool. We always have a great time and don't spend much money.
