As I was driving to work this morning, I was listening to a feature which said that a person's food cravings can be correlated with their state of mind. For example, a person who is craving sushi, may be fed up with feeling bored. As person who is craving chocolate ice cream, may be fed up with an inadequate love life. I can't remember it all, but I remember that they mentioned hamburgers, honey-glazed donuts and so on. The mentioned 30 or 40 things.
Do you think there could be something to all this?

I don't usually crave a particular food, but a type of food. Like I will want something greasy, or something sweet, or something cold. I wonder what that means?

I had heard somewhere that when you have a craving, it means you need that type of mineral or nutrient.....
Not sure, but when I was prego with Tara, it was steak and when I was prego Mikey, it was vegtables......
I'm thinking I didn't eat enough protien with Mikey and that's why he acts like he does.....
I don't know Kaiti

I crave cheeses (nearly any kind) and spicy foods (nearly any kind). I used to have a sweet tooth but I think the spicy food burnt out that part of my brain.
Bean Sprout loves spicy foods too tho he can't breath fire like me and DH. Li'l Sprout would live off ice cream if we'd let him.
