I bet we all have some well-thumbed favorites.
I get as much help from books about raising and communicating with children and teens as I do from books specifically about ADHD.
Here are a few of the ones I find myself rereading frequently
Don't Shoot the Dog, by Karen Pryor
How to Talk so Kids will Listen and Listen so Kids will Talk, by Adele Faber and Elaine Mazlish
Siblings without Rivalry, by Adele Faber and Elaine Mazlish
Raising Cain: Protecting the Emotional Life of Boys, by Daniel J. Kindlon
Healing ADHD by Daniel G. Amen

If you like "How to Talk So Kids Will Listen" then try their sequel called "Positive Discipline for Teens".
ADHD books I return to again and again:
"12 Effective Ways to Help Your ADD/ADHD Child" by Laura Stevens (Best general overview I've found of treatment without medication. Not technical, just informative.)
"Is This Your Child" by Dr. Doris Rapp (Extremely LENGTHY treatment of the role of allergies in ADHD. Lots of examples.)
"The LCP Solution" by Jacqueline Stordy (For those who want to know how Omega-3 supplementation works, rather than simply that it DOES work.)
For those who don't mind reading more technical information (but still suitable for regular people like us):
"The Magnesium Factor" by Seelig and Rosanoff (Role magnesium plays in health, with particular attention to heart disease and neurological disorders.)
"Excitotoxins" by Russell Blaylock (Outstanding treatment of MSG and its relatives. Solid scientific material, a convincing argument for why you should NEVER put MSG or aspartame into your body...unless, of course, you enjoy brain lesions and killing neurons and Alzheimer's disease.)
"Our Stolen Future" by Theo Colborn (How PCB's - plastics - are damaging our environment and our reproductive systems.)
