maby you have heart of mark dutroux. criminal nr 1 in Belgium.
7 years ago 2 kidnaped children ( 11 and 14 years old) where found back in his basement and 4 others where found back barried in his garden. now he is in court but until now they have nothing to punish him
he is saying thins like : I dont know where these girls came from all of a sudden they where sitting in my living room. he blames everithing on his death friend.
the oldest girl is is my age ( 22) and dicided to go to court as a witness. Without her they can not put him back to jail legaly witch I dont understand.
one of my friends got kiled after she was raped and had to barry her one grafe . After two years of gail he was a free man again.
I can not understand it. Its like the vicktems are beeing punished.
I just needed to tell this becouse it shanged my life.

Anneke, I understand your frustration.
Here in America, you are innocent until proven guilty. Once you are proven guilty, you still have appeals and many rights.
But the victims have no rights, or so it would seem.
It is a shame that these monsters have so many rights, privileges and appeals.

Anneke ... I too can feel your anger on this .... it does seem SOOO wrong ... I think there is some of this injustice all over the world ... I know our papers often scream about exactly this sort of thing ... how the victim pays so heavily and yet the accused can get off so lightly ...
I am also sorry to read that you lost a friend of your own in this terrible way....

I know how you feel anneke. I get so angry when I hear of things like this. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do. Most of these people who are found guilty are given such light sentences it blows my mind. I just don't understand!

((((((Anneke)))))) I'm so sorry that you had to go through this personally with your poor friend. it is horrible that monster got out of jail after only 2 yrs. there is also horrible miscarriage of justice in the united states and as others have said, the victims are often abused in court for a second time.
i'm so sorry that you have seen such sadness in your young life. i am grateful that you are one of our forum family. This forum is true evidence that there are some really wonderful folks in the world.

Anneke I´am sos orry for your friend. You´re right, sometime´s victem´s have to prove that they were victem´s, and still some horrible greature´s get almost nothing. "Innosent until proven quilty" is a good principal, somtime´s it just hindere´s justice to work. I´ve read about your phedofile-scandal when it happent and now when they have the justice going on...... It´s so sad that this kind of a people can walk here free!! ((((((((HUG`S)))))))) Marja
