I´ve never been a big fan of his eather, now even less.... this make´s me mad, what does make it right for him to criticise other´s decicion´s, I know postpartum depression can be huge problem!! I think it has to be part of being scientologist, to question all other way´s of coping in live. Have you noticed that lot´s of these celebrities have joined to scientologist/kabbalah/ budhism/... a little different that "normal" people, mayby it´s the thing when you´re a celebrity; you have to fin some place where they tell you that you´re allright when you just do like that.... Mayby the live in spotlight make´s them unsure about their own thinking, make´s them questionin their own mind and desision´s.....

Did you all see the clip of him getting skirted with a water gun? It was a prank by someone pretending to interview him. I think it had something to do with playing pranks on celebrities for a British TV show. Yes .. this happened in the UK (unfortunately we had him here last week!! ;D) and was all to do with a TV show ... He is now talking of suing the TV show and heaven only knows what else !! ... Apparently the SAME prank was played on Sharon Osborne the week before and she just squirted water right back at the journalist and took it all in good humour ... but Tom was REALLY upset !!

Fame seems to effect people in many different ways. Some famous people are just themselves, and others are always playing a role. I remember how my girlfriend in college would get an, I'm important, sound in her voice when she talked to me about her brother. His name is Christopher Rich. He is Reba's exhusband on the Reba Show. He was on the soap opra Another World when I was dating her.

I have thought about this all weekend. If any of you are familiar with the Bob & Sheri radio show or listen to it, they were tlaking about it this morning.
What I KNOW I am going to do, and what I propose to ALL of you to do, is start boycotting him now. I refuse, no matter how good a movie it is supposed to be, to go see War of The Worlds, and I will NEVER again patronize a movie that he is in. I feel if enough people to that, then it would obviosly put a big hurting on his career and with any luck, eventually tank it.
I don't care how good looking he is (personally I don't find him all that attractive - I like a manly man myself - LOL) , or how good of an actor he is, he is only an actor and needs to keep his opinions to himself and keep his fat mouth shut!

I had already decided that I would not watch war of the worlds or anything else. I want to see where he earned his medical degreee to tell people that they should not take meds. I also agree with whoever it was cursed him and Katie with adhd triplets. LOL. I know kids who have done great without meds, but sooooo many for who meds have been a lifesaver.

well it seems that this is the topic of conversation everywhere including here! everyone seems to agree that he stepped over the line to criticize brooke shields and all the other stupid things he's said. i've always rather liked him as a whole. i know there are other celebrity scientologists who seem to keep their mouths shut when it comes to other people's business. he adopted his kids so has no first hand experience with post partum depression. i just think that people with all this money can afford a nutritionist, all the vitamins, personal trainer, etc. all the things he seems to think we need instead of meds. maybe he is right but i don't know of anyone who could afford to find out. he may know alot of the history of psychiatry but that doesn't make him a dr and qualified to tell other people what they should or shouldn't do. yes, this is American and he has a right to say what he wants but then expect the back lash that we also have a right to say. i agree, lets drop all our kids off for him without meds and see if he can make them all successful. i'd even let him have them one at a time. every one of us would love to find a non-medicated way for our kids to be successful people. if he can provide that, then i'm all for it! ok, i guess it's time to get off my soapbox! i ahve to say that any group i've been around who have discussed this, all feel the same way. he went too far when he started trying to tell people how to live their lives based on his religion. i don't appreciate it from anyone, least of all someone who's never met me or walked in my shoes. karen

I read cnn net version and this was top-topic in there too, seemed like he´s getting a lot of resistance because of his comment´s. I wonder, doesnt he realize how silly he sound´s telling a journalist on live-audio "you dont know about the history of psychiatry, I do" ;D ;D ;D HELLO, I thought he ´s an actor not anykind of a psych major. I believe on freedom of speech and religion but I dont want anyone force their religion to me, I have the freedom of think what I want and believe what I want.

Someone who believes aliens came to earth and did whatever it is they did is a bit nuts anyway. Show me proof. I wont be seeing his movie. Not just because I rarely go see movies anyway. I hope people stay home in droves.

A friend of mine was telling me earlier that her husband saw something on CNN about a poll that was taken. In this poll 62% of those that took it said they would not be going to see War of The Worlds because of Tom Cruise's latest comments and actions. Steven Spielberg is probably kicking himself about now.
