Not a prank...
In 1987, DH and I went out and bought our wedding bands on April Fools Day. We thought it was appropriate!
We must really be fools, since we are both still wearing them!

Well the radio stations up here were having a field day. They told of a breaking news story about a beer truck that had overturned on a major highway. (Gave directions and everything) said that it was more expensive for them to hire another truck to come pick it up off the highway so they were taking a loss and just giving it away. All they had to do was come pick it up with a limit of 5 cases. Can you imagine how many guys called in sick to work to go get beer. But sadly enogh it was all a joke. I'm bettin there were some guys not real amused.

That is cruel. But I would've loved to see how many of them made room in their trucks and stuff for the beer

Done at work (not by me):
Tape down the receiver buttons and then call the person.
Tell someone to call a certain number because they have a box for him. The number belongs to a funeral home.

Saw in the paper that people were leaving messages to return Mr. Lyon's call, and leaving the number for the zoo.
