Hi Everyone... I have been gone for almost two weeks. Spring break for the kids and went to Legoland. they had a blast... Boy did we get some stares from people but oh well, the kids were having fun... At Legoland one morning a woman came up to me and asked me about my ds8. At first I was a little defensive but when she started talking to me, I quickly stopped. This nice woman is from Canada and had noticed people looling at ds8 strangely. She wanted me to know that she thought I was a wonderful parent for only caring about my child having a good time and she stood their and talked to me for an hour... All about kids like ours- her son has cognitive developement challenges. It really made me feel good. Just had to share my great vacation story... To all of you, That experience made me know fully how blessed I am to ahve you all and will never take that for granted... Thanks for listening... Christina

That's so sweet of that lady.... All it takes is a positive nod or conversation to realize that you are doin something right. Good for you. You could have just as easily gone somewhere stuffy and "cultural" and been yelling at the kids all day long Glad you had a good time and made it back safely Kaiti
