Hello I'm back!

Hello! I am back again! And for a long time! We finally have my son settled with his medical issues for a while at least.

I guess I should re intraduce myself. I am the mom of 2 sweeties Sierra who is 8 on Saturday and Ty who is 5. They are both blessed(yeah right) with Adhd as I am myself. Ty has a few other medical problems as well. Ty was just switched to adderal and let me tell ya it's not doing anything!

Sierra is also on Adderall and it has her sooo zoned. She is in summer school for math just to see if she can understand it more but the teacher called today and said she just cannot teach her as she is zoning out too much. ARRRGGG! I dont know what else to do! She has been on every med every dose. I will be calling the ped here ina few to see if we can try lowering the dose. Hopefully that will help. I have joined a 6 week adhd course through our Childrens hospital. I am hoping to learn new strategies. I am soo angry at adhd. It is soo unfair!

I do remember seing you here before, please dont be such a stranger anymore. Let us know if you learn something that work´s, big hand for educating yourself even more on this

WELCOME BACK LATONYA!! ... Please come back and stay .. it is great to "see" you again!!

I am sorry that adderall is zoning Sierra out!! ... Is this because the dosage is perhaps too high? My son used to get "zoned" out when his concerta dose was too high .... but we finally found the "right" dosage for him .... which gave him the concentration minus the zoning out ... so GOOD GOOD LUCK on this!!

I will certainly post what I learn! I will start a new thread for it that way others that dont read this post will see them. I am thinking it is the dose as well. But when we go lower then her hyperness starts again.

I can't find my smurf avatar? bohoohoo! And um I thought I used the waving smiley but it didnt work. I will try it again. ok never mind I dont see them anymore. Hummm strange.
