We had ourselves a humdinger of a storm come thru California on Wednesday. Down in the flatlands around Bagdad by the Bay there were hurricane force winds. Gusts up to 100 mph. Shades of Louisiana!
Up here in the hills we got some snow. About two feet where I live and I'm well below the usual snow level by design. Got to shovel me some snow for a change. I was right not to move to higher ground. I don't like snow on my truck. I don't like it in my yard. I don't like it on my porch. I don't like it tracked into my house. I sound like that Dr. Souze character don't I?
Needless to say this put a delay on my meeting with some teachers. Trying to reschedule for next week.
Hope the rest of the folks who got part of this Alaska storm weathered it ok. We didn't lose power but we sure used some keeping warm! Along with the fireplace insert going full blast. I hear at least a couple hundred thousand homes lost power in different parts of the northern state. Hope ya'll managed to stay warm!
