Well, my laptop is alive now, but not consistently. I'm trying to convince Mom to "finance" a refurbished Dell. I can get one for about $800. By "finance", I mean my parents buy it and I pay them back $100 or so out of every paycheck (so I'd have it paid off in about 4 months). *sigh* Why can't computers just cooperate?

Mom emailed me back about some other stuff, but not about the computer.
Grrr.

Since you have a job, just thinking, is there anyway you can finance under a student status? With either a real bank or computer company. This might be able to help you when you get out of college establishing credit. I gotta say, start now, Hubby and I are just starting to establish credit. And I'm almost 30 That way you'll fair a little better off then we have OK, mom's off the soap box Have a good day TGIF Kaiti

;D
I just talked to Mom.
She couldn't find where the refurbished Dells were on their website.
She's looked at the ads that are currently running for Best Buy and Office Depot and says that if we don't find something good in tomorrow's ads, I can come down and borrow her laptop until we do get something.
*dances*
