I haven't been on much lately. Have been trying to keep the line open in case I hear any new news on Mark. He was supposed to go into surgery this morning but because of his lungs (I think) they didn't want to try. The last I heard (before noon today), if he makes it through the night they are going to try the surgery again. I don't look for him to make it though. Thank you all for the prays and wonderful thoughts. Just being able to "talk" with someone helps. Thank you all so much!  |

Sweetie, sometimes the best thing is death. My mother suffered a terrible cancer for five years. She died last summer. It's very, very hard for those who are left. I will pray for the right thing to surround him with comfort.

I just read your post and wanted to say how sorry I am that your cousin and family are going thru this...
My Prayers are with and your cousin at this time. Don't feel bad about yjour feelings because they come from love... I will keep you and your cousin in my thoughts....

Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts. I got the dreaded call this morning. Mark died last night. I am relieved in some ways but oh so sad.  Thank you all again. |

Oh aimee30, I'm sooooo very sorry. What a terrible time this must be for you and your family. In time, each one of you will learn to cope with this, trust me. Take only one hour or one day at a time and don't look much past that until you feel stronger. Again, I'm so sorry.

Aimee, my heart breaks for you, and all of Mark's family. He is at peace, no longer suffering. God has taken him home, and I think Mark will agree that prayers for his peace have been answered. Time will ease your pain, try to rejoice in your wonderful memories, and keep alive Mark's spirit. He was obviously a very strong man, to have survived the first accident, and to have fought this battle for so many days.
Know that our prayers are for all of his loved ones to find a peaceful acceptance.
