Well I ran around with poop in my purse the other day so I could turn in some stool samples for more tests on the two year old.. thankfully all he did was poop on the day I usually run up there with my oldest for OT. So we hear back in a week. These are basically tests for malsorpsion and enzymes in the digestive system.

Sorry, I must have missed something somewhere. What indicators caused you to have these tests in the first place?

He has been tested for celiac disease through an upper endoscopy.. (camera down the throat to the small intesintine) and now they are doing this stool test for malsorption. He started having diahrea and weight loss last June and this is a continuing saga of trying to figure out waht is wrong.. it seems that it is related to a gluten intolerance but the doc just doesn't believe it..
But now that he is back on a regulare diet he is having the problems again. He is not losing wieght right now at this point but not gaining either.. So my patience with tests will only go so far at this point..
