Well, we got a new dog again. Don't remember if I said, but we had to get rid of Max, do not being able to house train him and biting my DD in the butt along with lots of unfriendly teeth bearing and growling. He was about 4 months old when we got him and I guess some habits are too hard to break. Now he lives with a friend on his farm.
So today we got a Karen. Of course, his name is Toto. He is 1 1/2 years old and was raised with kids so he is used to them. The people are moving and can't take him along so they ran an ad to give him away.
Honey is on cloud 9! He has been begging for a new dog since Max left and this one is only about 7 pounds so he fits into my house nicely. And a huge plus for me is that he is already house trained. He is so calm and friendly. The kids have taken him for about 20 walks around the basement and outside on the driveway. If it keeps going like this Honey just found his best friend.

I am happy you found such a nice dog. What a wonderful friend for Honey. I know my DS13 has a chuauha mix that just adores him. She never leaves his side when he is home, and if he has been gone for a while, she goes bananas when he gets home. We have had her since she was 10 days old and had to bottle feed her. She is now 3, and has helped DS through some very tough times. He thinks it is terrific that someone is so happy just to be near him, and loves him no matter what.
