DD-Amber is very small for her age. She will be 11 in april, and looks like she is in 2nd grade. We have always called her peanut and she hates it. DS-Dan ( will be 14 in may) has always been called buddy or bud. Dan really thought Ambers name was peanut and we could not convince him otherwise for a few years.

Had to laugh, my hubby is very proud to be behind most of nicknames too. ;D He also named the cats, Beans and Cornbread. He was just so pleased with himself; it was kind of cute.

We call our son Ash SmartAsh. (Not in public, for obvious reasons!) But HE came up with it. One day I teased that he was a smart aleck. And that was his retort.
He proved my point, don't you think?
PS Mom2TJ, we didn't teach any of ours French - nor Arabic, and I'll regret it forever.

DS#1 is Podge. He used to be my little man but now that he is older it's too embarassing to him. DD is Sis or princess pumpkin head. DS#2 is A.J. short for Alexander James. I had nicknames as a child given to me by my mother but no way am I gonna share them here!

Of course we have the typical sweety, honey, and stuff like that, but Mikey is our BULL in a China shop And Tara is Drama Queen, or just Drama or Queenie. Although my SIL calls her princess b/c Tara acts just like SIL, spoiled little brat sometimes. And then, whatever I feel like calling them if we are being silly. Kaiti

I call Cami all sorts of things, Blondie being one I use most. My mom calls her "Cambelina", and her dad has dubbed her, appropriately I might add, "Cambo."
