OK, I didn't want to totally ruin football for some of you, so, Who's you driver? AND WHY???
OK, Kyle Petty, because my dad always liked Richard, and my son had liked Adam until the tragedy, and with all that The Petty's do, He sure as he** is worth pulling for!!! Besides, I've followed him since he drove for the Wood Brother's #7: 7-11 car. Gotta be loyal ;D

I am a totally diehard JOHNNY BENSON fan!! Full time ride or not this year! In fact we are such a huge fan of his, guess what my son's name is?? HINT! We wanted a unique name for my son....
WHY? Because he is not a "bump and run" guy, he is always cool and collected... Never points a finger, and has real CLASS!!!
I bet I am in the minority though...

Well. I have a diverse family on this one...
I'm a Mark Martin fan. I like him because he's a clean driver, no bump and run, dirty driving, and attitude!
My husband has always been a Rusty Wallace fan, though in past years he's started pulling for Newman too.
And my dad, the poor misguided man, is a Gordan fan.
We're all ready for the season to start up again!

Ladies and Gentlemen, Let us bow our heads in prayer for Camismom's Dad. Guide him to the light of non-Dupont fumes, and the rest of all that stuff AMEN. ;D You know, My FIL retired from Dupont's. Wait, include him on that prayer too!!!!! ;D ;D ;D Tara pulls for Martin, Mikey has been brain washed by FIL, NOT IN MY HOUSE!!!! Hubby was pulls for a couple, but when he does, they seem to go by the wayside. Casey, Rick, Buckshot, he keeps for the younger guys, but always for Jeff Burton and Terry Labonte. Did I hear Jimmy Spenser got arrested for DUI? Kaiti

And yes I will pray for the misguided Gordon fans...
I guess since johnny doesnt have a full time ride, I will have to pull for MIKEY waltrip, possibly tony stewart (if he can keep his anger in check!!)...

By the way, I like Tony Stewart, just don't tell hubby He thinks he's an arrogant pompus xxxxxxx I give him cresit as a driver. Between Him and Robbie Gordon driving Indy and Is is Charlotte in one day. Can't think of a lot of drivers that can get through one race now a days w/out wreking, let alone 2. I actually don't mind ROBBIE GORDON. Except that he took Kyles spot with Sabotos Racing. Kyle didn't do too bad with Felix. Oh well, then we wouldn't be where we are today. Kaiti

VERY WARM now!! LOL I probably shouldnt of hijacked the thread for this! So I will tell ya! Benson Tyler (the tyler is from "tyler jet motorsports" which is who johnny was running for while we were in the name picking process) is my son's name.... Anyone calls him Ben momma bear dont like... LOL Unique huh?? I was concerned about the butler from the t.v. show "benson" being peoples thought process on where the name came from... At least kids in his generation wont know the other benson, heck the way Johnny is going they may not know the benson I intended for my son's name sake... Cool thing was on my son's second birthday (yes ON the b-day)... Johnny was in our town doing a meet and greet... You should of seen Johnny's face when we gave him a copy of my son's birth certificate to sign...

I was going to say Benjamin, but Benson is a great name. I told my hubby IF we ever have kids again, I want a boy to be named Adam, after Kyle's son.
He really autographed your son's copy?(Had to reread) Well, since NASCAR has been around a while, I suppose some of you know the old names. Besides, Moore Racing, um, the name is on the tip of my tounge. Hold on, gotta go think about this name. Stavalo Brothers, there it is.
We used to go to Dover for Both of the 500's and if those teams didn't make the end of the race, they would join us on top of this BUS my dad transposed into a camper. We used to call it the Big Brown Turd. It was a great seat, when people could still take their campers into the infield. Between turns 3 & 4. A guy we were family friends with was the gas man on the Moore Team when Bobby Hillin Jr and thingy Trickle were on it.
Oh my, Memories Kaiti

I've never really been into Nascar in the past (sorry, guys). However, I think my times coming. Without any influence whatsoever, my son (6) has become crazy about it. His birthday is in a couple of weeks and the theme will be Nascar. We have to watch the races now. He refuses to watch them alone in his room. He wants to watch them in the living room on "the big TV". His favorite driver is Jeff Gordon. My Nascar crazy friends assure me that he is his favorite because of Jarrett's youth and that as he matures he will pick a more acceptable favorite driver (hee hee). He also likes Dale Jarrett for obvious reasons. No, that is NOT where I got his name from. BTW, does anybody know where I can find a Dale Jarrett shirt that has "Jarrett" on it, in a youth size, with no Muppets? Thought it'd make a cool B-day present.

Walmart has a varying degree of things, although usually it's whatever is hot at the time.
Hey, just a thought, does UPS have a web site? Maybe they might have a racing Section. Like I said, just a thought. Or go to nascar.com. they might be able to link you somewhere.
IWANT THE TRUCK TO RACE!!! ;D Kaiti
