hello
I just need someone to talk to, and you guys are my family so.
This weekend I wanted to make a trip to the colca cañon ( in Peru) and they where gonna pick my up at 1.00am.
When I get out of the gate 3 boys grab me ant put my in a car. They start driving verry fast and rob everything that was there to rob. they are verry angry they can only find 10 dollar and ask for my pasport and visa card ( I dont even have one) lucky I left everithing at the house. After a while the car stops an I have to get out shey strengle my and leave my behind as death.
After about 15 minutes I wake up and realise that I am not in my bed and that it was not a dream.
I am there all alone there is no streat just sand and rocks. there are some paper houses, and some realy mad dogs ( Idont like dogs even if they are nice) I grab the things they left, and be happy that they left my klothes on.
I start walking and find a paved road, I see a taxidriver but he wont take me home becouse I dont have anny money, at least he told me in witch direction I have to walk. I can see the sitty it is far after 30 minutes of walking I am on a big road and a taxi drivers stops and want to take me home. he is verry nice, he didn´t even wait for his money.
yesterday I went to the police but they do nothing. after asking it 10 times I got a paper for the insurance.
I am all alone here becouse my friend is on a trip for her work. my mum wants my to come home but I cant and I am not sure if I want ( so manny thing to see).
I bet they got there information from the agency otherwise they would not heve been waiting.
now my troth is all swollen and all my mussels hurt.
my mum already made an apointment with a psiciatrist , but all I want is a hug

What a frightening experience!
I think you are very fortunate that you weren't hurt anymore than you were. You must have an angel on your shoulder.
When does your friend get back from her trip?

Oh Anneke - you DO need a big hug after what happened ... {{{{{{ anneke }}}}}}} ... I am so sorry to read this because this is a really rotton and horrible thing to happen to you .... THANK GOODNESS you are ok though ..... and Thank Goodness for the KIND taxi driver who took you back and didn't wait for his money ... (unlike the very UNKIND taxi driver who wouldn't take you because you didn't have any money!!  ) .... I do agree with you - that after an incident like this you don't need a psychiatrist - you just need a big hug and some TLC (tender loving care) .... As you say .... "Sometimes life sucks" ... but also remember that it CAN be a lot of fun and those fun times WILL be back ... !! ... |

Hi Anneke. Are you in Peru? I was just chatting with you the last day or two about putting a pin on the map for Belgium!! Man, what a thing to happen to someone. My brother was robbed in Venezuela. They seem to be able to spot the tourists coming a mile away. Thank goodness you still have your life. You can always start over again.

Thank Goodness you are OK. I agree with Ann, seeing a psych may not be necessary right now, but in the future when you have had time to think about what happened then maybe it would be more beneficial. Sending Hugs accross the world ()()()()()()()()()()!  |

Honey, I am so sorry that these monsters hurt you like that. I thank God that you are alive. How horrible to have this nightmare happen to you and not even have anyone there to hold you. thank you, Lord for sparing our dear friend anneke! i am so very very sorry that this terrible thing happened to you and that you are alone right now. i wish we could all reach through cyber space and give you real hugs, a cup of warm cocoa, wrap you up in a soft wool blankie, and sit you down by the fire surrounded by all of us. know that this is where you are in our hearts.

hey my again,
I am feeling better and tonight I finaly slept again. ( before it hapened I was sleeping bad to).
thank you all for your support, my friend is gone for a while and I am alle alone in big peru. normaly she would have come back , but she caled to her hostfamily that she stais a day or two longer. she does not even know what hapened.
I was lucky I had judo practice and know what it is to be strengled, I know I have to play dead ( like I did ) so they dont squise you to much.
I am sure I had a guardian angel on my shoulder, my granthfather died the 2nd of januari, hes watching over me.
I am better now , I only have mutch trobble to swallow my food.
the same night the same hapened to the neece of my host family.
now I am going back to the travelagency to get mu monny back, they probabely told the guys that I was going to be there. they where just waiting for me and grabed my when I was one step out of the gate ( I could not even close it again)
I got it al prepared in my head is spanish becouse they wont understand spanish anymore. and if they dont give my my money back I am gonne write to every travelbook in the world. lonely planet tels people abaout witch agencys are bad.
normaly I am not verry brave to do this thing but I am going to kick there but.

that sounds so scary poor you..... I'm glad to hear that you are ok, it could have been worse that God, Here is a BIG HUG from Canada and wishing you better luck..... I'm glad to here that a nice taxi was willing to drive you home.... Hubby is a taxi driver and he does volunteer all the time but it seems that the bad one give the rest bad reputation he always tells me "what goes around comes around"
