Well the tests came back negative from the endoscopy on our two year old guy... That means we are back at square one as to what is causing his digestive trouble and weight loss.. Fortunatly he has evened out but my fear is once we get him on a regular diet again that will change.. but that is what the doctor wants us to do. So that is what we will do..
Thank you all for your prayers... and good thoughts! now I need them for patience.. As I may get no sleep these two weeks if it goes like before. It would almost be easier on us if they found that he was celiac.. oh well we will press on till we figure out what's up!

Glad you didn't get a bad report back from the test, but know it is so frustrating to not know what is going on. You are being so diligent about looking for answers, I know you will figure out what to do to help your little one. My prayers are with you.

Sorka, I'm sorry that you and your little guy are going through all this. When my ds8 was 6 months old, we had to go through GI series testing to determine why he was throwing up all his food and not gaining any weight. It's so hard to go through all that. He didn't have the endoscopy, but did have other tests that were very upsetting to an infant. He had reflux, where the stomach muscle was not closing when he ate and then it all came back up. He had to be on 3 meds for the disorder until he turned 1 and, thankfully, outgrew it. I remember so well how hard it was in the not knowing stage. Lots of hugs to you, I understand what you are going through. Let us know how your little guys does.

thanks all!! We are back on a regular diet and it's funny, most meals that include items with gluten/wheat in them he is pretty much refusing to eat.. then the items without he is eating up like crazy! He knows what's good for him eh? He at two has more sense than the doctor! heheh I am also back on the normal diet and having some undesired effects..yuck!! Spent alot of time in the bathroom.. So I will cut back! I should probably have blood tests done on me.. I just hope that if he starts having more loose yucky diapers and loses weight that the doc will at least do a blood test on him.. if not I will move on and find someone who will.. because I know there are people out there who have had the endoscopy and had a negative result only to be diagnosed by blood tests and improvement from diet. Keep sending those good thoughts! Denise

That is really too bad that they don't have any anwsers for you. Waiting is the hardest thing in the world for me so I understand that. Hopefully they are able to give you some amwsers soon. In the meantime good luck and I'd send some cyber patience, but I don't think you want mine!! Instead I'll pray for some.
