Just wondering if anyone else is trying the diet? I'm going to start it next week and would like to chat with someone who is one it. Thanks

Isn't that one of the ones like Atkins that restricts the food groups you're allowed to eat?

Yeah, kinda. Carbohydrates mostly but then you get to add back in good carbohydrates.

What I've heard about those is that they work while you're on them for most people.

*blinks again*
I'm trying to cover up my ribs again.
I think I'm completely missing the logic in what you want to accomplish. Then again, I'm noted for my lack of tact when it comes to these matters.
Mom: "I've lost twelve pounds." Alla: "WHY?"
Alla was NOT on her mother's good side that day.

I was on this diet for two months during the summer. I didn't lose very much weight and it was rather expensive. BUT, my blood pressure was excellent and energy was up, cholesterol down. If you are looking to lose weight fast this diet isn't it. If you are wanting a healthy eating style or have health problems then this is a good one.
Even if you don't follow the diet exactly like the menus, give it a try. I had tried to follow the menu but modified some of it because of certain foods I can't stand that where listed. It did teach me how to eat healthier.

I've been following SugarBusters and having good success. (A friend of mine who is on South Beach Diet says this was pretty similar) I bought the SugarBusters cookbook for a few dollars, just to have some recipes to follow. Basically, you cut out refined sugar, pastas, anything made with white flour. I've lost ten pounds so far. I'd like to lose about 20. I have to say I've been pretty impressed because typically, I'm not one to follow any kind of diet with much success. This one just has a few requirements - no refined sugar at all, nothing made with white flour.
