Video games suggestions anyone?

Can anyone recommend a video game for the gamecube?

My son is 8 almost 9 yrs old, He is a very poor loser. I am talking about MAJOR MELTDOWNS when he looses in a game. He currently owns animal crossing, sonic battle and he does pretty well with those, he also has mario sunshine (he does so so on this one)...He he asking for Sonic Heroes, but I am afraid to buy it for him, has anyone played this game?....anyway, does anyone have any suggestions for gamecube games that wouldn't cause a major meltdown in my son, I would greatly appreciate it....

Oh my. Animal Crossing is probably the best one, cause there is really no competition.
Racing games are big in our household. We've got the Nascar one, and one called 18 Wheeler where you are driving a semi. We also have one called Monster Jam where you are driving a Monster truck. What I like about the racing games is that in a lot of them you can turn the "obstacles" off, so they you are mainly just racing against the clock. I know Mario has a racing game (though for some reason we don't have it). Maybe you should look into those.
If he really likes Mario Sunshine, Luigi's Mansion is fun, too. It's about Luigi trying to get all of the ghosts out of Mario's Mansion, from what I remember. My son (6)really got into that one for awhile.
J loves Sonic, but I don't know anything about the game you are talking about. We don't have it.
