I know this site is about ADHD, but I have met so many helpful people here I am curious if we could make a section for non-adhd things. Just for things like good movies to take the kids to, helpful books to read, or just every life things. There are so many people with good ideas and different opinions it may be helpful. Maybe it wouldn't work here or maybe it is not approiate, but it might be nice to have.
Just a thought....

Okay, is this supposed to be tips or "just letting your hair down?" I'll share this story our pastor told today about priorities. A woman was sitting alone at the super bowl with an empty seat next to her. The man next to her asked, " Is a friend meeting you here?" She told him, "No my husband recently passed along." The man said, "Surely you have a friend who would have wanted to come to the super bowl game." She replied, "Yes they wanted to but they insisted on going to his funeral instead." Lori

;D
To calm a cranky/crying baby put some LARGE thick towels in the DRYER for about 15 minutes take out of dryer and wrap around baby like blanket.
Corn starch WONDERFUL for any baby that has PROBLEM diaper rash...all of my kids had that problem!! DON'T use the scented baby powders makes rash much worse.
dab mylanta/liquid stomach meds for a quick BOO-BOO on the knee. That brings down the redness.
NOTHING works better for upset stomach or gas than 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda in 8oz of water.
use FABRIC paint to put kids names on bookbags/clothing/coats....WORKS wonderful and DOESN'T wear off!!
Make your own holiday shirts with fabric paint and a few sponge stencils. It's EASY and creative...we do this for EVERY holiday! LOTS of glitter!!
Easy craft for a group of kids buy the wash rags like 10 in pkg for 2.00 and let them use the sponge stencils at wal-mart and fabric paint. It's a item they're parents will keep FOREVER!! Can cut HEARTS out of sponges and make 'valentine love rags!" Be creative!
take care...madison
