I think it would be a good idea to schedule chat times. That way we know we will be able to chat at certain times.
I know its hard to fit everyone into a schedule but if you say at 10:00pm est, everyone could be at that time we could do a morning and afternoon time for the sahm's too. This is just thought. What do you think?

hey kelly,
i was just wondering if anyone ever uses the chat room. every time i log on, i automatically go there first, just in case. i've never seen anyone in there.
i think trying to schedule at time might help get things started off at least.
i can do a couple mornings but could probably make it at night 10pm est is 9 my time.
would be great to make use of the chat room and talk to someone live.
i could do monday or tuesday night either one.
anyone else?

I agree that "scheduled" chat times are a really good idea ... maybe sometimes in the morning (EST) and sometimes in the evening? I am in the UK so the evening ones for me would be around 4.00 a.m. but the morning ones (EST) would be great! ... with a mixture of morning and evenings we could hopefully give all members wherever they are a chance to have a chat.... great idea! I will also bring this up on the Mod board ... P.S. I have also stood in an empty chat room all alone on many occasions!!  |

I would love to chat but everytime I go in there, it's empty. Then I wonder if it's me. LOL!! Maybe it is! LOL! Anyway, I am available all day until 4 pm. then it's supper and night school.

I was late last night sorry. I hung around for about 20 minutes no came in. I will be on tonight at 10 est I will hang around a while longer. HOpefully my little one will go to bed on time tonight. Hopefully I will get to chat with some of you guys.

once i logged in, there was a "Live Chat" button (coffee cup icon?) which brought me to the chat room!
I will try to lurk in the chat room between 10-11 EST (I am online most nights anyways).
I found this site from a link on 'another' board, and i have seen some familiar names in the members list.
my personal concern is Adult ADD.

I have let the moderators know that some members are going to start trying the chat room around 10:00 PM EST. Some mods are away and I'll be at the hospital (my mom is in there) but I wish you luck.

i actually got to talk to someone in the chat room today! i was so excited! it was jrutzel! The problem was i had to leave right away! i only went in there out of habit never expecting to actually find someone there.
then was gone this evening so missed the 9pm cst possible meeting time.
hope we start catching each other in there.

I keep going in and waiting at 10:00 est I have talk to one person. Is this not a good time for people. Should we schedule another time that is more conveint?

I've gone in a few times, but as time was short, I chatted with Allanque for a little bit. Personally, I'm usually in bed by 10 est. If there is maybe a time in the morning est, that would be better for me, as I work in the afternoons.

Wednesday would be the best night for me. Hubby works, Hurricane Kate is at youth group, so I can sit quietly on the computer with no one needing anything! I'll check in Wednesday and see what's up.
