Hey Dad, The other way to add a picture (and the way I do it) is with HTML code. Right click on the image/picture and select "Properties" (it is usually the last one on the list) Then when that box opens, I copy the info in address field and put it between [ img ] [ /img ] tags with the spaces removed In the case of the laughing green smilies... [ img] home.ripway.com/2003-11/37306/biglaugh.gif[ /img] take away the extra space between the [ and img and you get this... I really hate to say this....  LurkNoMore, true, that will work. But doing it that way uses up someone else's daily bandwidth on their account. Of course the account in question with this smiley belongs to me, and although the biglaugh.gif is only 9kb, if everyone starts doing it, it will blow through my daily 5 mb in a hurry. I would heap rather see people use Ripway or some other file sharing site. The account is free, and although it takes longer to do a post in that manner you get your own 5 mb to play with. No hard feelings and I'm not being smart alecky, just letting you know. Thanks, |

 I am so clueless about these dang  I dont even know what a bandwidth is  But I can steal them from my other site I visit without takeing away bandwidth right??? Glad I read this post first I was about to give camismom some snow from one of your posts...  |

Glad I read this post first I was about to give camismom some snow from one of your posts... Bandwidth is kinda generic. I used it to describe the amount of files I can share in a 24 hour period. Ripway allows 5 mb. If I go over that all of my pictures will start coming up as little red x's. You can give her some snow, just follow my directions in the"putting a picture in a post" post. I just updated it. And, catseye, it definately looks like you are quick study. Good luck and let me know if you need any help. |

I don't know if I will ever understand how to do these things. I'm still trying to learn how my VCR works. I recently bought an alarm clock that I can't figure out how to set. Then there's programing my car radio, I almost have that one down. When I rent a DVD the kids need to get it started for me.... I can't figure out that complicated remote control. I won't even go into the stereo system/disc player, is that what it's called?
I really envy you people who can get it all together.

Are you implying something Mr Hoo??? Ohmama is refering to the icons on the main page I believe. They turn blue or gray or whatever, not too official sounding, but there they are, blue balls. My husband complains,.......oh never mind ;D |
