Had an interesting conversation with Dd last night about condoms. She is 10 1/2. She calls them 'the its' She asked "Have you ever seen one? Has daddy ever used one (I said I don't know to this) I told her they were the best thing to protect girls from getting AIDS but that having sex wasn't something I thought people should be involved in until they were at least 19 or 20. I told her that Super Target sells them. ""They do?" she said. I told her where they were in the pharmacy section. "Well next time we go you'll have to point them out to me, BUT DON'T MAKE IT TOO OBVIOUS" I always thought it was important to answer questions in a straighht forward manner and I'm glad she askes me, but it really was rather funny!

Well dd met an "IT"last evening. we were in super Target getting her perscriptions filled. In a calm quiet voice I said ," end of aisle, right side, midway up, are the its. " She picked up a box, looked at the box, shook it,(wasn't impressed by the look on her face) then she turned over the box. On the back of the box was a picture of a fully rolled out condom. "OH ICK" she screamed and dropped the box like it was on fire. She quietly picked the box off the floor and put it back on the shelf. Never said another word about it. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;DKeeping a straight face was difficult.
