I think that all of this is ridiculous. The women seem to be saying that they want the toilet lid down so that they can sit on the toilet like a chair without falling in. That seems ridiculous to me. That has nothing to do with using a toilet at all. And miles seems to say that he sits down on a toilet all the time. That seems to miss the point as well, as most males use toilets from the standing position as a urinal. That is the issue in our family. One wife and three standing males. In my family of origin, it was one mother and three standing males. But in my wife's family of origin, it was four women and no males.

I had to bring this back up. Mike used to NOT put the seat down, that is until he fell into the OLDER toilet upstair that he actually had other things get cold. So now he yells at any guy that comes over to put the seat down as a curtisy. And if they don't I charge them a quarter  And they are so dumb, they give it to me ;D ;D ;D |

I don't know what all this talk is of falling in toilets. That must be an American custom. What causes that -- alcohol, being overweight, carrying so many firearms? I just can't figure that out. Canadians don't fall in toilets that have their seats up. The debate here is on an entirely different matter -- whether or not there are little drops of urine on the toilet seat when a woman comes to use the toilet.
That is the issue, and there are many factors that are considered in the debate that transpires . . .
