Y'know, since the brown shoe lace that goes on my left foot broke and I replaced it with a bright purple one, I don't have to think to figure out which shoe goes on which foot anymore.
I like this system, but I'm guessing that once I get out into the real world and get a job and all, they won't be so very fond of it. Punks.

You know what, to teach kids left from right, that would be a very good idea.....that and so busy mom's won't have to guess when they hurry and throw on the shoes that the kids couldn't find until it was time to l;eave

*nodnod*
I now have 2 pairs of shoes with mismatched laces. One of the black laces on my black boots died after courageously holding together for quite some time. I kidnapped a white lace from my tennies (which I hardly ever wear anyways) and now have one black lace and one white lace.

I recently got paid, so I should be able to afford new shoe laces again, at least for the black boots. I'm rather fond of my purple shoe lace in the brown boots. Maybe I can find a funky-colored one that's 60 inches long for my black boots. The white one is only 45.
Bad pun warning: Yes, I've been on a shoestring budget. As in, couldn't even afford shoe strings.
