Ever notice how often your kids begin using expressions that you use? It can be very revealing. ("Do I really say that?") Sometimes, though, it's funny or sweet. DD3 said to me, "Come on, you silly thing." (not in a disrespectful way) Today she told me "You're such a pretty girl."
Not related to the topic, but tonight she said, "Daddy's strong like me."

My mom is exceedingly fond of asking me if I "got it in writing" when I remind her about stuff that she told me she'd do. Y'know, that one doesn't work so well both ways after the first time or so...

OH, just our conversations ???Mikey and Tara especially can repeat word for word things that they have heard.. I heard the kids at SACC talking and Tara declared: Mommy doesn't like beer because it gives her gas Or she'll tell Mikey: Remember, you need to hurry up or we'll be late again

The time Steven told the people on the shuttle bus "I weigh 55 pounds and my mommy weighs --- pounds". Boy, do I regret telling him my weight!

I no longer discus weight issues or big butts. Tara says MOMMY IS MY BUTT BIG I said of course it is, you come from a long line of proud big butt women. So she proceeds to tell her little girl friends the same thing. Wait til I tell her we come from a long line of wide, child bearing hip women too
