Conversation with Cami on phone while I'm at work.
Cami: "I can't find my wrist band."
me: " Did you look on the living room floor since you slept in there last night?"
Cami: "yes m'am" ... then noise as she looks some more ..... followed by, "Oh. Never mind. It's on my other wrist."

For me it is coming out of a store and looking all over for my sunglasses once we get in the car~~~even sending the kids back in to look for them only to realize that they are on my head ;D ;D I have done that about 10 times this summer~~~but you would think the boys would say to me to look on my head after I tell them to go back in and look~~~double ADHD there ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

He wears a ballcap a lot and will put his glasses on the bill of his cap, then later on "lose" them and be looking all over only to be reminded by someone else they are on his head. He neither blonde nor ADHD... so

I come out of the store and ask, "where did I park the car?"
The answer I usually get is, " DUH... in the parking lot, Mom!"
So, instead I ask where they got out of the car at!!!

don't you hate those literal answers! I get that all the time!
She gets home from swim practice, I ask...'what did y'all do today?" answer: "swim"
ok, let me rephrase.... "what swim strokes did y'all work on?"
