Yesterday while I was helping a 3rd graders with his math, he says that looks like a tree. ???I asked him what he meant by that, I had no Idea what he was talking about.
He pointed to my fingernail and says."That right there tooks like a tree," and dang if it didn't from where it had chipped off. So you know me, we looked for shapes on the other nails ;DI had to hurry up and chip on off a little more, it looked like a fist with the middle finger sticking up.
Oh the things kids look at to avoid math work. He did finally get it though
