Well, as you can see, I finally got my avatar scanned so it's smaller in kb size, but in the process, I THOUGHT, yup, shoulda know something was wrong there  I DELETED ALL OF MY PICS FROM RIPWAY  Numbnut me thought that I would save space if I took them off, not thinking that they still need to be there to host the pics in the pictures thread. DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Let me go see if I can burn some water now  Go ahead I give y'all permission to laugh your butts off now ;D Although I do look like a nice skinny x when you look at the pics ;D |

Yeah, but um, I have to remember where I put the pictures We have so many photo albums, I might just put something else in there and modify it Chalk it up to learning....natural learning ;D |

I am GRATEFUL Kaiti ... because it never occurred to ME either that the photos had to STAY in Ripway to be "hosted" ... GOOD POINT!! ... THANKYOU for pointing this out !! .. ;D  I hope you can get your photos back ... ! |

I just thought about it, I might have them saved to a disk, we had been doing that because we had been scanning quite a bit and we were using a bit of space on the hard drive......
hmmmmmmmmm, I think I'll look through the PILE of disks, oh boy this'll be fun, I might just look for the originals ;D

I finally got figured out how to use ripway, Iám no pro yet, but I got one pic done on the how to-section!!!!!!! So, now I THINK I KNOW how to do that if I ever need to do that again. It took me a while to understand how that was done ;D It didnt help that all the instruction´s were in english But I got it in there. Thank´s Kaiti, now I know not to delete the one´s I´am using in somewhere ;D Good thing you did that, now I dont have to ;D I hope you find your pic´s somewhere  Marja |

I'm glad it's helping though, see even if I'm blonde, it helps sometimes. ;D Well, Marja, didn't you have you Finnish/English English/Finnish dictionary at the computer desk  You know I'm teasing, Heck I got an English/German German/Engilsh dictionary sitting on my dining room table. Mike told me he wanted to learns it, so now I have to wing it, since my first year German teacher didn't teach us that nouns have genders or might be nuetral, the "der" "die" "das" thing. So Herr Gwen, bless him, had to teach us 2 yrs worth of German in 1 yr. Needless to say I passed, but by the skin of my teeth. Any how, directions in English are confusing to me too Marja, don't worry about it ;D ;DAt least that's your second language your having a problem with and not your first ;D  |

I'm plodding along !! ;D Trouble is that we are bang in the middle of Euro 2004 and England is playing Portugal in the quarter finals and its a DRAW which means they have to go into extra time ... and .... and .... well our streets are DESERTED ... It is kind of eerie out there ... ! & I gotta get back to the match now !! ... Our whole national pride is at stake ! So it might be tomorrow that I cross that line!! |

Kaiti I should have had my finnish/computer language/finnish-dictionary AND my finnis/english/finnish-dictionary with me ;D Luckily I got it right, you should pop in to look at it, it´s in "how to put pic´s on the post". Anne, are you biting all your fingernail´s already  Portugal just made their 2nd goal Look´s like England might drop off Sorry! Edited to add that England just made their 2nd....So.... |

Well, I have no idea what ripway is or avatar... BUT YOU HAVE ALWAYS BEEN AN IDIOT.  What makes you think that it has to be official? ;D If you were any different, I don't think we would love you as much as we do! I hope you figure out what the demon is that is keeping you from your pictures! Laurie |
