Amen clinic info?

Hi folks, I'm new here, I found my way thru millermom's board. I read some posts here referring to some of Amen's work (ring of fire is one that comes to mind) and I'm hoping to get more info about his work.

I was again checking out Dr. Amen's web info (brainplace.com) and did the checklist there and reading about the 6 types (i think that's the number) of adhd (i'm vastly paraphrasing here). What I'm interested in finding out is does anyone here know more about his work/research or have any experience with his clinics? There is one opening here in my home town very soon, so I'm thinking since I'm shelling out all the bucks for various therapies (my health insurance bites in regards to mental health treatment) and I still feel like we're not getting anywhere, if people have had good results there, it may be worthwhile to try.

Actually, I believe ohmama knows quite a bit and I think her son was tested by Dr. Amen. I will alert her about this thread.
