the Southern California Institute of Clinical Nutrition run by Dr. Laura Thompson? Here is her web site www.drlaurathompson.comi've asked this before and was amazed that no one had heard of her. as much independent research we all do on ADD and ADHD, i must admit, i was surprised no one has heard of her or her institute. any help?

After a brief look at the website and Ms. Thompson's credentials, I think it's quite obvious why the discerning people who use this message board would give short shrift to this enterprise.

JohnBark, I checked out the website.
As a voracious reader, I will read anything pertaining to ADHD. You never know where you will find a nugget that will help.
Yes, I notice that the site is selling stuff. But I think we are all entitled to make a living. I don't believe anyone is truly altruistic, nor should they be. The real questions is do her products work?
Have you any experience with her products? If so, have they helped?
I am sure that these, as with all treatments work for some but not all. Alas, there is no magic bullet for all where ADHD (or any other condition) is concerned.
But, that doesn't stop us from looking for them. Thanks for the info.
