diagnosis

I knew in my heart... It took 3years to have someone believe me. They all would say I should take parenting classes.. DS is severe ADHD, OCD, and possible mild ASpergers. He has 3 other siblings who are not like this. How could it be my parenting.

Eric had a wonderful and caring teacher who listened to me and asked me bluntly. I was so relieved to hear someone say I was not crazy for doing all this research and thinking Eric was ADHD. She has become his best Advocate at school and with his Doctor. She loves and supports Eric as we do.

i am stubborn as well so his Ped. diagnosed him and a Psychiatrist. and a Neuroligist because I wanted the proof and I wanted Eric to have all this support when he came up against the Non believers. Sorry for ranting. It was a hard fight to be believed - Thanks for listening....

Psychologist diagnosed Li'l Sprout. Pediatrician diagnosed Bean Sprout. Both sets of diagnoses were confirmed by another psychologist a year or so later. The second psychologist noticed other comorbids in progress too. Dang we're still getting diagnoses. Though the school is trying to take some of them away and say they've outgrown them. I wish .
