Message from the Admin/Moderators

everyone on behalf of myself and the Moderators!! .. Just a few things to mention to help us on what is already a very smooth running of our site ...

1. Background. We work hard to keep this changing (I know I am easily bored and I know I am not alone!) ... Linda is an absolute EXPERT in sending me potential new backgrounds and is in fact responsible for MOST of the backgrounds (including the current one) ... In fact Linda doesn't know this yet but I am naming her "our BACKGROUND QUEEN!" ;D However, we would also welcome background ideas from EVERYONE and please - if you find something you feel would make a good background (and as long as the copywright allows it) feel free to send them to my email : [e-mail] OR post me the direct "link".... They are always welcome!!

2. Please try and avoid posting the same thread on two or more different boards .. please stick to one board when you post a thread ... If it posted in more than one board it gets really confusing !!

3. If you have ANY concerns at all with any aspect of the board please contact any one of the mods or admin. We honestly want this board to run (as it generally does 99.9% of the time!) smoothly and happily .... but although our "beady eyes" are out there a lot of the time we can't be everywhere ... and there ARE things we might miss and should maybe know about ...

4. Our Terms and Conditions are posted on this board ... and well worth looking through ... if we were to break these then our board would DIE ... Every couple of months I run a print out of everyone's email addresses JUST IN CASE this should ever happen - and you can be sure that we would start up again somewhere else very quickly ... BUT because I can only do this every couple of months please also make a note of MY email address ... especially if you are relatively new to the board OR have changed your email address and haven't updated it !!

In the meantime THANKYOU for making this board what it is ... or what we really feel it is and hope everyone else does too .. which is a place of ACCEPTANCE, FUN and FRIENDSHIP...

Well .. we have finally been upgraded !! ... you may well have spotted some changes already.

There are a LOT of changes in admin so please bear with me whilst I "learn" them !! ... but one thing that I have noticed is that everyone - even those with thousands of posts has reverted to being called either a full member, junior member, veteran member etc...

I need to "fix" this ... and I will ... but again please bear with me over a couple of days and we will get our Members back with their RIGHT titles for the number of posts!! ...

one thing i'd like to know is how you guys get those great little pictures under your name, to the left of the threads. no hurry since i know you guys are busy with the upgrade. let me know when you get a chance.

Karen .... take a look for something you "like" ... which might be from www.gifanimations.com or a similar site ... When you find something you like let me know OR email me at [e-mail] attaching a photo or anything else you would like on your profile ... I will then be happy to add it for you!! ...
