As you all know I have been having problems getting my son motivated to get things done in the morning, he would just shut down and refuse to do anything. Well as a result of him doing this, he was making me late for work. My boss never said anything to me, but I hated it. So he was pulling one of his episodes the other day and was making me late. So I called work, handed him the phone and told him to explain why I was going to be late for work. He dropped the phone and ran out to the car....  If he does not want to be accountable to me, then he will be to those I work with. Boy, the things I have to dream up just to make my point!! Miles |

Good idea Miles. I'll have to try that sometime. Cami has become pretty consistent with missing the bus at her stop here latley. Luckily she can catch it at another stop, but it does still make me a little late.

You got that right miles....our minds have to be one step ahead of our kids  Very tiresome after awhile!!! I totally believe in holding the kids accountable for there actions. |

Dang what a great idea!! I will have to give that a shot sometime... Funny I read this now, today sd missed the bus, and was late to school.... Unfortunately *I* over slept.... Boy sd just HAD to tell everyone! We get to the desk, sd says "mom made me late".... We see her teacher sd says, "mom didnt wake me up"...  One of those days I suppose!! cat
