Have hope, they really DO mature eventually. SD will be 15 in May. I still wake Dan up in the morning, but he gets himself dressed, eats breakfast, takes his meds, grabs his wallet and cell phone, and has not been late for school even once this entire year. I have not needed to push, poke, prod, shove, or yell in months. Now Amber who is not adhd is another story. I can barely get her moving each day, and have finally started leaving for work before she is out the door to school, then hoping for the best. We live right next to the school, so their walk only takes them across the yard. She will be 12 in 6 weeks, so I think puberty has kicked in big time. She is also very argumentative, likes to give me the "mom is so dumb" eye roll, tells me that I dont understand anything, ect. I just hope she lives thru puberty.
