Is lying common?

One of my Mum's favourite sayings whenever I have said "Sam did this ... " or "Sam thinks that" over the years is to say "Ummm ... I seem to remember his mother doing that when she was younger ... " !!

And I can't blame adhd because I don't have it!! A lot of things (lying included) are part and parcel of "growing up" !! ...

Yeah, grandma's (Linda being the exception ) are awful! I mean, here I have in Cami's head this perfect picture of me as a child and mom just goes and blows it every chance she gets!

I mean, I never lied, cut class, snuck out of the house, back-talked, direspected her, ar anything like that! I don't know where she gets it from. She must have me confused with her other daughter.

Oh you don't know how many times I have told Paul and Jacob when they are messing up.....you are just like your dad ......then they ask ...did he get away with it? YEAH RIGHT ;D ;D ;D

My dad looked a while at my daughter having a temper tantrum, turned to me and said: That´s nothing, you were MUCH worse ;D ;D ;D

He certainly got my dd´s attention ;D I dont know where he got that must be age and memory thing ;D
