Sometimes we get small glimpses of our family members through things that are said in posts- Still, I wish I could hear from spouses, children, grandma's,etc...directly. I know- we could have a guest day where loved ones could post in our name and introduce themselves. We could do it on Friday and call it' Family Friday'. Whaddaya think? OMG- It IS friday! That has a good ring to it, I like it. But what if said offender is being complained about  That would be my concern. Other than that, I think it would be neat. Can guests post? I can't remember. I was just thinking about it the other day too. |

Yeah, I too wondered if this could be done without anyone (member or guest) being offended. Family Friday could be a neat thing but I see potential for someone to get hurt, also. (Here I am squelching my own idea) Maybe there are steps we could take to keep it positive. (Like limiting their post to one word. Ha Ha.)
Seriously, if this idea is a bad one, I wont be offended if it gets nixed. Maybe you creative moderaters out there can do some brainstorming along these lines.
(Darn,I dont see a smiley with a light bulb over head)

I think it is a good idea. It would need it's own thread so that members knew what it was. Also guests can't post, so the member's guest would need to post using the members name, but identifying themselves as their spouse, son, daughter or whatever.
Paul, do you have someone in your family to start it?

Wifey is at the chiropracter but should be home soon. I'll try to talk her into saying "Hi" when she gets back.
