How does this work?

I am new not only to this site, but to message boards in general. I can not figure out how to add info about me and my children to my profile, let alone how or where to ask questions. Does any one have any advice? Thanks!

HI STACEY and welcome to the family.

If you go to the main page, you will see the different headings. This one that you typed in is getting to know each other. The next one down is HOW TO FAQ'S...

Go to that and look at the many helpful topics. They have info for posting information, posting pictures, and alot of others that have been extremely helpful.

If all else fails, the moderators are extremely helpful also. Dad2Brooke is a computer whiz/adminastrator(sp) around here. And believe me there are no questions to feel silly about asking.

At the top of the page is also the Help icon, click on that and see if that may answer any of your questions.

StaceyK welcome aboard. We are pleased to meet you and have you join our family. I hope that you find all the help support you need here. It was a real lifesaver to me when I found this place and now I would be lost without it.

Kaiti gave you some great advice. (And paid me a nice compliment to boot, thanks Kaiti!)

It's pretty easy once you get the hang of it. You will be posting in no time. You already figured this on out.

To add info about you and your children in you profile, you need to click "profile" on the main page, right under our logo. (up near the "help" Kaiti described.)

Toward the bottom of your profile is a place called "signature". You can enter info about you all there, click the "change profile" button at the bottom of your profile and it will be at the bottom of all of your posts.

You can play around and set your avatar, personal text etc.
