I pulled up the weather right before I left for lunch and saw a good bit of white and pink on the radar in Alabama, extending all the way down to the panhandle of Florida! It's all headed this way. I know it's doubtful mid-day like this, but it never hurts to hope! Snow where I am means the city shuts down (esp. the school district where I work) and you get a day off! I'm starting a prayer chain, hehe ;D ;D ;D ...

Well I hope you get your snow day,but other than that...bite your tongue woman I live in MI and I am sick of that white stuff already. I envy my son who lives in TN...they get snow once in a while but it melts off quickly...NOT HERE.. Maybe in MARCH it will start to get a little warm here..but we are still prone to snow storms...you never know!!!

My hopes have been dashed already... it all turned to rain before it reached us. I guess it just goes to show, most people want the opposite of what they have! BBW is the exception.

Camismom I´am sorry your dreams kind a smelted away I sencierly hope you´ll get some snow, since I have to live right in the midle of it aprox. 5 month´s/year Naah, it´s not so bad; kid´s will stay clean, all that snow is much better than mud, there is so much to do outside for kid´s, so they´ll also wire up easily, it´s so bright!!!!! That´s the best part; star´s, moon, the nature on the moonlight. After dark, miserable fall that we had, it´s so delightfull to have it so beutifull. Mom2TJ: the cold part is not so fun, now it´s only -5 deg. of C, but at christmas it was -22 deg. of C. I just checked out of the world-Atlas, and remembered that almost all of you live way below me Our Capital, wich is at the southest part of Finland is quite in the line with Anghorage of Alaska. Everyone; enjoy your winter and Linda; just remember all those tulip´s and other spring-flower´s wich will waite us!! Marja

Hey: Whoever gets the snow and doesn't want it--send it my way!! I even love the cold!! There is nothing like the sub-zero temps to get your blood going!! Just the sound of the snow crunching under my feet and the sound of the boards on the deck cracking (they don't really crack) is music to my ears!! Bring it on with all of its purity and beauty. With all of its frost and frozen tundra! Winter-ahhhhhh yes, winter, it just doesn't get any better than this!!! And there is nothing wrong with not liking snow--there is something wrong, however, with liking 90 degrees and high humidty! LOL!!! I am happy!!

Thanks catseye! Unless we get lucky here, that snow may have to do me! AnneM, I know what you mean. We got rain all through the afternoon yesterday, all through the night, and all morning. The temp dropped to 36, but no lower. Close, but no luck. It has been cold here, averaging lows of 25 a night, yet the day we are due rain, it goes higher! AARRGGHH!! So we're just cold, wet, and ugly! Hope you dry up soon!
