Hello. I am a mom of a 4 yr old son and a six yr old daughter both with adhd. I just found this forum looking for some information. It is so rough with adhd. But there is never a dull moment. I hope with help we will be able to get through this as I am so worried about my daughters future. It is going to be a struggle for her and I wish I could do something about it.Thanks for this forum.

LaTonya, welcome aboard.
Don't worry, you will find plenty of help, support and acceptance here. Everyone here either has ADHD or loves and cares about someone who does. Many fit in both categories.
This site was and still is a lifeline for me when I discovered it. I worry about my daughter's future as well, but I now find it easier to face thanks to this site.

:)Welcome to the board!! This place is awesome! It really has helped me when meds didn't work for my son and I felt like that was my last option going out the window. Everyone is sooo supportive and a little "crazy" sometimes. Which is good, we don't get to laugh all that often sometimes. Hope this site helps you and you are comfortable here.  |

LaTonya, Welcome aboard!  I am the mother of a 12 year old ADHD girl. You are right when you say struggles are ahead for your daughter, but with your help, and the help of others, I'm sure she will persevere! Withourt our struggles, how doe we become stronger? Besides, God doesn't give us more than we can handle. I come here often and many times have found the advice, support, or just understanding that I need. I'm confident you will too! |

 Welcome, my son is 7 and ADHD. I also have 3 other kids. Life gets very interesting at times but in the long run that's what makes it all worthwhile! I hope you find the help and support you need. Sue
